Yes! They are now according to the sign in the door when I went in on Monday.
It's a small place I would call.

Lots of good desserts, too. They also have a small grocery section of German packaged goods.
Sauerbraten, it too time consuming, to prepare. If you do it the right way, it is a process, over several days of marinating. Unless, they do it for serving at their restaurant, it is doubtful, for one or two orders.
Loved it. Authentic German style with a buffet style food to choose from. Rolls were a bit dry, but the schnitzel and sides were cooked well and tasty. Will need to return when I'm in the area.
I’m in love! I haven’t had legit German food in almost 2 years and this place is amazing! The employees are German and are super sweet on top of their delicious food!
Everytime we come here we feel right at home. Wonderful food, & staff.
Always great food and service!
A very cozy place with awesome food and service. Pictured below is the cordon bleu schnitzel with home fries. Only half the order is pictured as it smelled and looked so good that I started eating before I remembered to get a pic! It was busy when we arrived (it is a small place) but well worth the wait. The service was friendly and hospitable. The food was hot and fresh. The desserts can't be beat....there are a variety of fresh baked cakes to choose from. My husband enjoyed his fresh brochen, wurst, and King Ludwig beer on draft. You will never leave hungry!
The only German food I found near Fort Knox, KY. It’s a cafe that sells merchandise like Kinder Chocolate, Sausage, and more. They have a small menu buffet type. I had the schnitzel with gravy and 2 sides. They were very tasty. Very fast and friendly service! They have dessert and it’s oh so heavenly!!! The only thing I didn’t like about the place was, it was cramp inside, not much room to move. But still a great place to eat!
I like this place very much. It has a great ambiance. The cuisine is superb. the service is efficient and the crew is well trained. The cost is reasonable. I definitely recommend.
Great schnitzel on the lunch buffet
I love this German restaurant. They have the most awesome schnitzel.
The place maybe small but the service and food is amazing the cakes and rolls are made from scratch if you want some good German food this is the place and pay no mind to that one star from the rainbow hair chick Janine Price as long as I’ve eaten there the food as always been top notch don’t know what she talking about
Good food and good customer service. A bit expensive for the quality though.
Everyone in our group had the bratwurst and schnitzel, which were both wonderful, but after that, each of us picked different sides. All of them were good choices, every one of us loved it and wished we lived closer so that we could come again. The portions were large enough that I probably should have eaten half and taken the rest home, but it was so good I couldn't stop. I ate it all.
This place... Menu is pretty basic, but damn does it hit the spot. Offers sausage or schnitzel, corn casserole, red and white shredded cabbage, spicy or mild potatoes, veggies, spaetzle, fresh bread rolls, cucumber salad and brussel sprouts. Everything is well prepared and tastes great. They have desserts too, and there is no shortage of options. The restaurant also offers a small German selection of groceries. Come hungry because the standard fare is big enough for 2 people. Very friendly service. Seating is a little tight, but its still classy.
Was going to eat there until I watched two employees walk out the back of restaurant with their aprons on and feed and pet a bunch of cats.. then go back inside. So I chose to just leave and go some place else.
We went there for dinner for the first time and I must say love it. I cant believe we haven't heard of this place before. There was 3 of us and all of us had a great meal and will most definitely be going back. I'm going to be sure to tell friends and family about it. The service was great also. If ya try it ya wont be disappointed.
We've only been to the buffet, the few times we've been. The items offered never change. They're good but not many options and not many options for the little ones. It is not a self serve buffet but the serving sizes given were very generous. I was curious though that the buffet price was all the same, yet when I went through for my serving I was only given one piece of meat, when my husband went through he was given two. I noticed this about many of the men's servings; they all received two pieces of meat. If this is the case perhaps they should have a price for a man's serving and a lady's/ children's serving. Other than that, the place is in a smaller older building, cute set up; but very close to your fellow restaurant patrons.
Food was very acceptable. Dining room, like others have said us a bit cozy. Small German grocery selection a big plus. They should be embarrassed to serve country crock margarine instead of real butter.
I thought I made good schnitzel. I no longer think that. The food here is spectacular and the setting is like sitting at home with family!! I loved it. The food was just amazing and I can officialy never get enough!!
Do yourself a favor and come here for lunch. The food is fresh and authentic and the portions are huge. You can easily get two meals or of one serving. There are a couple German beers on tap and the most amazing cakes that are made fresh daily. There is a small grocery inside full of imported German good also. The seating is limited get here early or take your food to go!
Very small German restaurant with excellent food and awesome atmosphere. The Schnitzel is to die for. Overall a great dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone that loves German food.
Fantasticly cozy atmosphere, excellent food for around $10 a plate, attentive staff. I have visited twice and left content (and ready for a nap) both times - we will be making this a regular destination for lunches! They also have awesome cakes and bakery items, as well as a small store full of German snacks and sweets. Definitly worth your time to try out!
Absolutely the best German Food I have tasted since I left Germany 8 years ago. Kase Schnitzel was excellent and I have been missing the German Chocolate cake as well. I told my wife already that I'm picking some up to bring home when I'm done with my school here at Fort Knox. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone. I LOVED IT AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE AUTHENTICITY.
Great place, authentic German food and drinks, candy, and all recommend you try it you'll probably love it
Great German food. The cakes and rolls are incredible. The building is small but feels like a Gausthaus in Germany They have a small store of meat, sausages and other German goodies. My favorite place to eat out.
They serve awesome German food and the owners/ people who served and also work in the kitchen are German. Also had good beers from Germany to.
Had the buffet and beer. Loved it. Will be back next time I'm in Knox.
We love the lunch buffet there and the German cakes...out of this world..
I ate there and was completely surprised at how delicious the food was. One of the best meals I ever ate. I will definitely be coming back. Staff was very friendly, and the food was out quickly. Great place to eat.
Went there the other day for dinner with a friend. The Schnitzel was great. Went back with another friend and had dessert. "Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte" was very good. My two favorite so far is the Bienenstich and the Käsetorte. Highly recommend this place. No matter how busy they get everybody is always friendly and happy.
The food was delicious and at a good price. The cakes and pastries were sooo good! Definitely will be back for more! 😁😁👍👍👍👍👍
Great quick German lunch fare.
Lunch was pretty good and I was able to eat mostly Keto, but was a little spendy for ready made buffet style dishes. About $13 for 1 meat and 2 sides.
Always friendlynice selections of hard to find imported goodand if you want to eat there... better be hungry and were some button pants.. for a more comfortable ride home
Great service. Good selection. Love the cakes
Never had German food before. All I can say that it was DELICIOUS. I've been missing out om German food for a long time. The portion of food was great also. The service was better than the food. They showed great hospitality to everyone. I would recommend this place to anyone. 😄
Was looking for something out of the ordinary (wanted to get away from the chains) and this place had pretty good reviews. When I first walked in, I almost left. Was certainly nothing impressive and a relatively small cafeteria style serving station (you don't order from a menu).WOW I glad I stayed! The food is absolutely fantastic! If you want authentic German food, friendly staff and reasonable prices, this is a must!
Very warm and cozy place. Feels like you are at a good friend or relative's home. Food was excellent. The mushroom gravy was very good and the homemade rolls hit the spot!
Very nice people. The brochen and cola gummies took me back to when I was a child and my parents were stationed in Vilsec Germany. Thank you for the experience!!
One of my most favorite restaurants of all time. People are great food is amazing and the whole experience is great. Every time I am at Ft. Knox I have to eat here!
I have not ate these Europeans flavors in a very long time. This is a gem! Authentic German food. They start you with good coffee, cucumber salad and homemade bread. The snitzels are heaven. So much choice in toppings. If you still have room, go for one of their cakes.
We have celebrated many special occasions here. The desserts are authentic, the main courses are large portions and the atmosphere is Cozy and German.
My first German meal. Expensive but worth it. Loved it🖤
Great German food on a cozy atmosphere! Surprised we have not discovered this place before!
Great place for beer and authentic German food.
The service and atmosphere were outstanding. The jager schnitzel and desserts were amazing.
Friendly staff and amazing food
Great food. Yes, they are open for dine in!!!
Must visit if you are around Fort Knox, very small menu but delicious! Try to save room for dessert if possible but it is a lot of food!
Food was great. Service was awesome. The restaurant has family seating, meaning you might sit with strangers. It nice to sit and talk to new people so enjoy.
Cozy little German place with great food!
